PECAN PRALINES 
1 box light brown sugar
1 sm. can evaporated milk
2 tbsp. white Karo syrup
2 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. pecans

Bring first four ingredients to a boil. Boil until a soft ball forms when dropped into a glass of water. Remove from heat. Stir in butter and vanilla. Stir rapidly for about 5 minutes. Stir in pecans. Drop by tablespoonful onto waxed paper and cool.
