ORANGE JELLO SALAD 
#2 can crushed pineapple
1 sm. orange jello
1 lemon
2 c. sm. marshmallows
1 sm. lemon jello
3 bananas

Mix jello and 2 cups of hot water. Add 1 1/2 cups cold water and juice of 1 lemon. Add 1 can of drained pineapple and add marshmallows. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish and chill. When firm, slice 3 bananas on top of jello.

TOPPING:

1 c. pineapple juice
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 pt. whip cream

Beat egg and add flour and sugar. Add pineapple juice gradually. Cook until thick over low heat. Add butter and cool. Beat 1/2 pint whip cream, and 1 tablespoon sugar. Fold into cooled topping. Sprinkle top with 1 cup cheddar cheese if you desire. This makes a great salad for company or for a holiday dinner. It may be made the day before.
