POT ROAST WITH VEGETABLES 
1 (4 lb.) roast
2 tbsp. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. hot oil
1 c. water
1 tsp. steak sauce
6 carrots, cut in 2 inch pieces
4 lg. potatoes, peeled and quartered
1 lg. onion
Salt and pepper to taste

Combine flour, salt, and pepper and rub into roast. Brown on all sides in Dutch oven. Remove from heat. Stir in water and steak sauce. Return to heat and cover tightly. Cook over low heat for 1hour and 15 minutes. Add vegetables. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook 45 minutes or until meat and vegetables are tender.
