DINNER ROLLS 
1/2 c. melted shortening
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. water with 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved
1/2 c. boiling water
Self-rising flour as needed

In bowl, combine boiling water, sugar and shortening. Let stand until cool. Add eggs and dissolved yeast. Mix all together to make stiff dough but not dry. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight. Add enough flour to dough to knead. Roll out 1/4 inch thick, brush melted butter on half of dough. Fold over and seal edges. Cut with biscuit cutter. Bake at 350 degrees until done.
