GRANNY'S POUND CAKE | |
1 lb. butter 3 c. sifted plain flour 3 c. sugar 10 whole eggs 2 tsp. vanilla extract Be sure ingredients are at room temperature. Thoroughly cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add alternately with flour. Bake in a well greased and floured tube pan, approximately 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. Makes a very large cake. |
