MRS. BRUSH'S HOT FUDGE SAUCE

Melt over low heat:

1 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 sq. unsweetened chocolate (3 oz.)

Add:

1/3 c. boiling water, slowly stirring

Bring to boil. Add:

1 c. plus 2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. white syrup
Pinch of salt

Boil 10 minutes, stirring. Take off heat. Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and stir.
