PUMPKIN CHEESECAKE BARS 
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. packed light brown sugar
5 tbsp. butter, softened
1/2 c. chopped pecans
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. canned pumpkin
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix flour and brown sugar in bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in pecans. Reserve 3/4 cup mixture. Press remaining mixture into 8x8 inch baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Cool completely.

Combine cream cheese, pumpkin, sugar, eggs, vanilla and spices in mixer bowl. Beat at medium speed until smooth. Pour over baked crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until set. Cool on wire rack. Cut into bars. Yield: 2 1/2 dozen.
