1 pkg. Oreo cookies
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 gal. ice cream - coffee, vanilla, butter pecan or your choice
Chocolate syrup (or Kahlua for adults)
1 container Cool Whip, softened
Optional garnishes: sm. chocolate chips, chocolate sprinkles, chopped nuts

Crush cookies and mix with butter. Spread in bottom of sheet cake pan; chill. Allow ice cream to sit out until softened (not melted). Spread over cookie layer, freeze 10 minutes. Sprinkle syrup over ice cream. Layer Cool Whip, garnish, freeze. This is a good recipe to be creative with.
