1 2/3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix ingredients together. Put in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 30-35 minutes in 350 degree oven. Mix instant chocolate pudding, wait for cake to cool, then sprinkle on cake and top with Cool Whip.
