CHERRIES IN THE SNOW 
CRUNCHY CRUST:

1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 c. confectioners sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped
1 can frozen cherries
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Combine the first 4 crust ingredients. Place in a pan and bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees. Crumble into a 9x12 inch pan and pat down. Cream the cheese, confectioners sugar and vanilla. Fold in the whipped cream and spoon over the cooled crust.

Cook the cherries, sugar and cornstarch until thickened. Cool. Spoon over the cheese mixture and chill several hours.

NOTE: A graham cracker crust may be substituted for the crunch crust and a can of cherry pie filling in place of the cooked cherries.
