1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. drained crushed pineapple
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix and drop on cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees.
