1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
Hershey's Kisses (48)
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk

Combine all ingredients except candy. Mix on low speed until dough forms. Shape dough into balls, using rounded teaspoons for each. Roll in sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Top each cookie immediately wit candy kiss. Press down firmly until cookie cracks around edge.

Makes approximately 4 dozen.
