CHICKEN CACCIATORE 
3 lb. fryer, cut up and skin removed
1 lg. onion, peeled and sliced
1 lg. green pepper, sliced
2 cloves garlic, pressed
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. dry white wine
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. sweet basil

Place chicken in baking dish; add remaining ingredients. Sprinkle spices over top. Bake, covered, 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove cover, continue baking for 1/2 hour or until tender. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve over pasta.
