KENTUCKY POUND CAKE | |
4 eggs, separated 3/4 c. oil 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 (15 oz.) can pineapple, drained (use 1/4 c. juice in cake) 2 1/2 level tsp. cinnamon 1 tbsp. vanilla 2 c. chopped nuts Mix all ingredients, except egg whites. Beat egg whites and fold in. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Start in cold oven. |
