8-10 pork loin slices 1/2 inch thick, no thicker Salt Panko (dehydrated bread crumbs) Tonkatsu sauce, no substitution Flour Peanut oil Egg Can be found in the Oriental section of your grocery. Salt pork, dip in flour, dip in egg, roll in Panko. Heat peanut oil to 375 degrees. Fry in oil until brown, then turn pan down to 275 degrees to finish. Finely chop napa cabbage on plate. Place meat on cabbage and slice each piece into 1/2 inch wide pieces. Top with sauce. |
