RING-A-LINGS 
1 c. flour
Dash of salt
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 c. finely chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Jam or jelly of your choice

Cream butter and sugar. Add dry ingredients 1/2 at a time. Mix well. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Roll in small ball. Press thumb in center and fill with jam. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes.
