OPEN FACE SUMMER SQUASH | |
8 yellow squash 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. grated cheese 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. salt Cut squash in halves lengthwise. Steam cook for 10 minutes in water. Arrange cut side up in 3 quart dish. Melt butter and salt and pour over the squash. Pierce center of squash so butter is absorbed and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Top with cheese. Return to oven and bake 10 more minutes. |
