BAKED APPLE CHEESE STRATA 
1 can apple pie filling
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 eggs
1/2 c. milk or half and half
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
6 slices sour dough French bread
1 c. grated cheddar
2 tbsp. melted butter

Combine filling and cinnamon; set aside. Mix in a blender the eggs, milk, salt and nutmeg. Cut up bread (including crust) into 1-inch cubes. Brush a 9x12-inch pan with butter. Spread bread cubes in pan. Drizzle with egg mixture and remaining butter. Spread apple filling over entire pan. Top with cheese. Cover and refrigerate 6 hours or overnight. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
