PIZZA 
1/2 c. warm water
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. scalded milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1/3 c. shortening
3 c. shortening
3 c. flour
15 oz. pizza or spaghetti sauce
8 oz. mozzarella cheese

In separate container, mix warm water and yeast. Set aside. In large mixing bowl, add milk, sugar, salt, egg and shortening. When milk has cooled, add yeast mixture, mix thoroughly. Add flour mix until there are no lumps. Knead 5 minutes on a floured board. Put back in large mixing bowl, greased with shortening. Cover, let rise 20 minutes. Break dough in half and spread onto pizza pans. Cover with sauce and cheese. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees or until cheese is bubbly.

Makes enough dough for two 9 x 13 inch pizza.
