CREAMY EGG CUSTARD 
1 c. sugar
4 eggs (reserve 1 egg white)
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/4 tsp. grated nutmeg
2 tbsp. melted butter

Cream sugar, eggs, butter, flour and salt. Add milk and mix well. Beat the reserved egg white until stiff. Fold in mixture along with vanilla. Pour in deep unbaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees until knife blade inserted in center comes out clean. This custard is very creamy and has a nice brown crust on top.
