2 tbsp. corn syrup
4 c. sugar
1 c. rich milk (cream)
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook corn syrup, sugar, milk, and cocoa until medium hard ball forms when dropped in cold water. Then add butter and vanilla. Cool until you can hold your hand on the bottom of the pan. Then beat real good until it just starts to get hard. Pour out in buttered pan and cut.
