PICNIC CHOCOLATE CAKE 
Bring to a boil:

1 stick butter
1/2 c. Wesson oil
6 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water

Pour over: (sift together)

2 c. sugar
2 c. flour, plain
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix well and add:

1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, one at a time

Beat well, batter will be thin, pour into greased and floured long 13 x 9 x 2 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until tested done.

ICING:

5 minutes before cake is to come out of oven, bring to a boil:

1 stick of butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
3 tbsp. buttermilk

Remove from fire, beat in 1 box 4XXX sugar. Add 1 tablespoon vanilla and 1 cup chopped nuts. Pour over hot cake.
