WHOLE WHEAT PANCAKES 
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. buttermilk (or soy milk if you have milk allergies)
2 tbsp. canola oil (or other vegetable oil)
3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix together the wet ingredients then add dry ingredients to the same bowl waiting to mix until all dry ingredients have been added. Makes about 12 pancakes. Can also use for waffles.
