1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter, softened
2 eggs
1 c. white sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
4 c. + 3 heaping tbsp. flour

Cream together first 7 ingredients. Sift together dry ingredients. Combine the two mixtures and mix well. Roll into balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Press down cookies with fork dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes for soft cookies.
