PEPPER STEAK 
2 lb. round steak, cut into pieces
2 tbsp. shortening
2 tbsp. flour
1 can Campbell's onion soup
1/2 c. catsup
1 lg. green pepper, cut into strips
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash pepper

Combine flour and seasoning and pound into meat. In skillet, brown meat in shortening, then pour off fat. Add soup and catsup. Cook, covered over low heat for 1 hour. Add green pepper and cook until tender. Stir now and then. Serve with mashed potatoes.
