SAUSAGE CHILI 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. sweet Italian sausage
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. sliced celery
2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans red kidney beans
1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. salt

In skillet, cook ground beef and sausage until browned; drain off excess fat. Transfer meat mixture to slow electric crockery cooker. Add onion, green pepper and celery. Stir in undrained kidney beans, undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic, chili powder and salt. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 8-10 hours.
