PEAR PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
2 lg. eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) pie shell (unbaked)
4 fresh, ripe pears, cored & sliced

Arrange the pear slices in the pie shell. Beat eggs well. Add flour and sugar to eggs and beat. Add butter and vanilla to egg mixture and beat lightly. Pour over the sliced pears in the pie shell. Bake at 325 degrees for 1/2 hour. Makes one pie.
