GERMAN SWEET CHOCOLATE CREAM
CHEESE BROWNIES
 
1 pkg. German sweet chocolate
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
4 oz. cream cheese, softened

Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwavable bowl at High 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.

Stir in 1/4 cup sugar until well blended. Add 2 eggs and vanilla; mix well. Stir in 1/2 cup flour and nuts until well mixed. Spread in greased 8 inch pan.

Mix cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg and 1 tablespoon flour in same bowl until smooth. Spoon over brownie mixture; swirl with knife to marbleize.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out almost clean. (DO NOT OVERBAKE). Cool; cut into squares. Makes 16.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
