F.'S SATURDAY MORNING PANCAKES 
1 1/4 c. sifted all purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 beaten egg
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. salad oil
(Omit the "Texas Pete" from this recipe)

Sift together the dry ingredients. Combine egg, milk and salad oil; add to dry ingredients. Bake on hot griddle. Makes 8 pancakes.

For variety, add blueberries to pancakes when the undersides are nicely browned. Pecans are also good when added.
