BLACKBERRY PUDDIN' 
2 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
2 c. blackberries
2 c. boiling water

Cream together 1 cup sugar and butter. Add the flour, baking powder, salt and milk; mix well. Pour blackberries on top, and then pour 1 cup sugar and 2 cups of boiling water on top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes or until top is golden brown.
