LEMONADE 
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
3/8 to 1/2 c. lemon juice
4 c. water
Mint leaves or sprigs

Combine sugar and water in saucepan. Boil for 1 minute to make syrup. Cool. Mix lemon juice, syrup and 4 cups water in a pitcher. Pour lemon mixture over ice in tall glasses. Garnish with mint leaves. Makes 4 servings.
