OVERNIGHT BUNS 
3 c. warm water
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 beaten eggs
9-10 c. flour

Mix 1/2 cup water, 2 tablespoons sugar and yeast. Let stand. Mix water, sugar, salt, shortening and eggs; add 2 cups flour. Add yeast mixture and about 7 or 8 cups flour. Knead well, about 10 minutes. Then knead every hour for 4 hours, then 1/2 hour later put buns in greased pans to rise, cover with towel. Bake in the morning or in about 7 hours. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen.
