CANTONESE STEAK | |
2 lbs. steak (cut into pieces) 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 3 tbsp. soy sauce Salt & pepper to taste 1 sm. green pepper 3 oz. almonds, chopped very fine 3 tbsp. oil 1 sm. can mushrooms, chopped Combine onion, garlic, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Pour over steak and marinate overnight in refrigerator. Drain meat, cook in oil for about 7 minutes (turning), add green peppers, almonds, mushrooms and cook for 10 minutes or until meat and vegetables are cooked to your liking. Serve with rice. |
