APPLE CRISP 
5 c. cored peeled apple slices
1 c. sugar or 1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. butter
1 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Combine apple slices and 1 cup sugar in bottom of 2-quart casserole. Mix butter, oats, flour, brown sugar and walnuts. Sprinkle butter-oat mixture over apples. Bake in a preheated oven of 350 degrees for 1 hour until topping is brown and apples are tender. Serve plain or with topping.
