MICROWAVE CHOCOLATE FUDGE | |
1 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. evaporated milk 2 c. (12 oz.) Ambrosia semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 c. chopped nuts 1 tsp. vanilla extract 16 marshmallows, cut into sm. pieces Put milk and butter in a 2 quart glass bowl. Cook on high 1 minute or until butter has melted. Remove from oven and add sugar, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Put in microwave and cook on ROAST (70 percent) for 2 or 3 minutes or until mixture begins to boil. Remove and stir well. Replace and cook at 70 percent until mixture boils. Cook 2 or 3 minutes or until candy forms in a firm ball in cold water. Remove from microwave and stir in marshmallows and chocolate pieces and beat until smooth. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread in a buttered 8 or 9 inch square pan. When cold, cut into squares. |
