BOOSE CAKE 
2 eggs, well beaten
2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. raisins
1 c. oil
1 c. nuts

Take 2 cups raisins and 4 cups water; boil until raisins are soft, drain and reserve 1 cup raisin water (cool). Beat eggs; add sugar. Sift dry ingredients. Add 1 cup oil and 2 cups cooked raisins plus 1 cup raisin water. Add 1 cup nuts. bake in 350 degree oven 1 1/4 hours in angel food (10 inch pan) ungreased.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter
2 c. confectioners sugar
Stiffly beaten egg white
2 tbsp. bourbon whiskey

Cream butter and sugar, add egg white, bourbon and whiskey; frost.
