TURKEY FRAME SOUP 
1 meaty turkey frame
3 qts. water
1 onion, quartered
2 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
1 tbsp. instant chicken bouillon
1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. pepper
4 c. fresh vegetables (any combination of celery, onion, carrot, rutabaga, mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower)
1 1/2 c. med. uncooked noodles

Break turkey frame in half. Place in large Dutch oven with water, onion and salt. Bring to boiling, reduce heat. Cover; simmer 1 1/2 hours, remove frame; when cool enough to handle, cut off meat and coarsely chop. Discard bones. Stir in broth; discard solids. Return broth to Dutch oven. Stir in turkey meat, undrained tomatoes, bouillon, oregano, thyme and pepper. Stir in fresh vegetables. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover, simmer 45 minutes. Stir in uncooked noodles; simmer, uncovered, 8-10 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
