CHICKEN ROMANO 
2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut up
Salt and pepper
1 onion, sliced
2 tbsp. butter
1 bottle Heinz chili sauce
1/2 tsp. oregano

Brown chicken in butter, season with salt and pepper. Add chili sauce, onion, and oregano. Cover, simmer 40-50 minutes or until chicken is tender. Baste occasionally. Skim excess fat from sauce. Serve sauce over chicken; top with Parmesan cheese. Makes 5-6 servings.
