STRAWBERRY SALAD 
2 pkgs. strawberry Jello
1 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) boxes frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
3 med. bananas, mashed
1 c. chopped nuts
1 pt. sour cream
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (12x8 inch) baking dish or ring mold

Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Add thawed berries, mashed bananas and nuts. Add dash of salt. Pour half of mixture in mold (let other half stand at room temperature). Put mold into refrigerator until firm. Mix sour cream and softened cream cheese. Spoon on berries and spread. Add remaining berries, chill and serve on lettuce.
