LASAGNA | |
3/4 lb. ground beef 3/4 lb. Italian sausage 1 clove garlic 1 sm. onion 1 (18 oz.) can pizza sauce 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 can mushrooms, optional 1 capful Italian seasoning 3/4 to 1 box of lasagna noodles (6 to 9 noodles) 1 lb. Scarmonga cheese or Mozzarella cheese Brown meats together with garlic and onion. Drain. Add pizza and tomato sauces, mushrooms and seasonings. Simmer 15 minutes. Meanwhile bring 1 box of lasagna noodles to boil. Drain when cooked thoroughly. In a 9x13 pan, layer noodles, sauce and cheese. Continue alternating, ending with cheese on top. Sprinkle with extra Parmesan cheese if desired. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Let set 15 minutes before serving. Freezes well. |
