MUSHROOM MEATBALLS 
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. bread crumbs, dry
2 tbsp. onions
1 tbsp. shortening
Salt and pepper, to taste

Blend soup and 1/2 cup of water. Measure 1/4 cup soup mixture and combine with ground beef, 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs and 2 tablespoons onion. Shape into meatballs about 1" diameter. Brown in shortening. Add remaining soup mixture. Cover. Cook 15 to 20 minutes.
