BROCCOLI SOUP 
1 bunch broccoli, steamed
2 tbsp. butter
2 c. hot chicken broth
2 pieces crushed, crisp bacon
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. Pet milk
Salt & white pepper

Over medium heat in heavy saucepan, melt butter. Add flour and cook until bubbly. Add broth, then broccoli that has been finely chopped. When soup is just below boiling point, add milk and remove from heat. Season with a little salt and white pepper. Serve at once. Top each serving with a little crushed bacon. Serves 6.
