1/2 c. butter
1 egg (separated)
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
Nuts, chopped
Jam or candy eggs

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and beat well. Add flour, shape into small balls. Dip into slightly beaten egg white, then roll in chopped nuts.

Press centers down to look like birds nest. Bake 8 minutes in 350 degree oven. Remove from oven and press centers down again. Bake 8 minutes longer. Fill centers with jam or candy eggs.
