2 c. raisins (boil covered with water 5 min.)
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts, crushed
1 c. raisin water (still hot)
1 c. Crisco
2 c. white sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine ingredients until well mixed. Add raisins and nuts last. Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes, 350 degrees. This is a moist cookie and makes about 5 dozen.
