PISTACHIO TORTE 
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. pistachio or other nuts
1 tbsp. sugar
2/3 c. powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (8 oz.) frozen whipped dessert topping, thawed
2 (4 oz.) pkgs. instant pistachio pudding mix
2 1/2 c. milk

You can use any instant flavor pudding mix you like.

For Crust: Combine flour, butter, nuts and sugar until crumbly. Knead to blend. Pat into bottom of 9"x13"x2" baking pan. Bake in 375 degree oven for 12 minutes.

Beat powdered sugar, cream cheese and 1/2 of dessert topping with electric mixer until combined. Spread over cooled crust.

Prepare pudding according to package directions using 2 1/2 cups milk. Spread over cheese mixture. Spread remaining topping over pudding, sprinkle with nuts (pistachios of any kind). Cover. Chill 1 to 4 hours. Serves 12.
