BEAN SALAD 
1 (1 lb.) can cut green beans
1 (1 lb.) can cut yellow wax beans
1 (15 oz.) can dark red kidney beans
1/2 c. chopped onions
2/3 c. sugar
3/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. salad oil

Drain green beans and wax beans; wash kidney beans; mix all with onions. Combine sugar, vinegar and salad oil; pour over vegetables. Chill overnight. (A 15-ounce can of garbanzo beans may be added if desired.)
