CHEESY SPAGHETTI HOT DISH | |
1/2 lb. hamburger 1 med. onion, chopped 1 (15 oz.) can spaghetti sauce with mushrooms 6 oz. spaghetti 2 tbsp. butter 4 tsp. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. evaporated milk 1/3 c. water 1 c. shredded American cheese 2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese Brown hamburger and onion. Drain fat. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer 10 minutes. Break spaghetti in thirds, add to boiling water and cook until tender. Drain. Mix with hamburger. Melt butter. Stir in flour and salt. Slowly add milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick. Add 1/2 cheese and Parmesan cheese to this mixture. Spread half the spaghetti in bottom of 10 x 6 inch greased pan. Spoon cheese sauce over top. Top with the rest of spaghetti and remaining cheese. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees. |
