SAUERKRAUT SALAD | |
1 (2 lb.) bag sauerkraut (I use Franks) 1 1/2 cups sugar 1/2 cup oil 1/2 cup vinegar 1 (4 oz.) jar diced pimentos 1 medium chopped onion 3 stalks chopped celery Drain sauerkraut and rinse well. Add sugar, oil, vinegar, pimentos, chopped onion and chopped celery. Mix well and keep refrigerated. Stir occasionally. Note: Gets better with age, about 3 to 7 days. Submitted by: Diane Wilson |
