TAFFY APPLE SALAD | |
Juice from 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. flour 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar 1 beaten egg 4 c. diced Jonathon apples 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip 1 c. chopped cocktail peanuts In a small saucepan, simmer together pineapple juice, sugar, flour, egg and apple cider vinegar. Let cool. Then fold together apples, Cool Whip, 1/2 cup peanuts and sauce mixture. Add the other 1/2 cup peanuts on top. Chill and serve. |
