TAFFY APPLE SALAD 
4 c. diced apples
1/4 c. pineapple juice
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. flour
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 c. chopped salted peanuts

Mix pineapple juice, sugar, flour, egg and lemon juice in pan. Simmer over low heat until pudding-like. Cool completely. Combine with Cool Whip and 1/2 of nuts and diced apples. Sprinkle with rest of nuts.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.
